New work following on from ideas started in 2018/2019.

My paintings are always about my own world and images that come to me as colourful fragments of places held in my mind - after long walks - or dreams. I'm interested in colour as light, and form using expressive brush strokes whether the theme is abstract or combines abstraction with figuration and elements of Nature. After many years of painting in situ, I now work from visual memories, to catch the essence of an experience, or purely from the paint, letting it lead me in to new lands.
