Portraits, Murals and Commissions
A small selection of the many works I made to commission. Mostly I have painted portraits but I also painted murals and landscapes to brief.
When I lived in Cyprus, I made many portraits and this is where I consider I received most of my training. I still paint portraits to commission. My prices are:
£580 for a portrait on canvas, 40 x 50cm
£1200 for a portrait on canvas, 70 x 50cm
£110 for a charcoal/pencil portrait on paper.
For anything larger, prices on arrangement. Double portraits, prices on arrangement.
I can work from photographs but usually like to take some photos of my own, to get an idea of the sitter's face from different angles. It can take one to two weeks to complete a portrait and during the work I can send images of the developing portrait via email. This way the finished version can be viewed in an email and any required changes made and approved.
