Some new work, extended ideas and new adventures in paint and calligraphic brush strokes. This album will see my China series of work developed and layered with ideas from personal experiences and my evolving thoughts about painting.

My paintings are about places and experiences and also about the process of making an image. My approach is to let things happen! Often I start a series of work either by making paintings on rice paper with calligraphic brushes and ink, or I make a series of paintings on small canvases.
