New paintings on canvas and board.
These are ideas evolved from my works on paper, though not necessarily referencing them completely. I like to explore aspects of the works on paper and also my Chinese ink paintings. The series of Chinese ink paintings on rice paper I have made (ongoing) since September 2015, after my trip to China, has been pivotal to the concerns in my new work.
Layered with these references are my journeys through paint, colour and shape and a need to seek meaning and my own world. And a lot of intuition!
