My love of landscape stems from many journeys as a child, travelling to other countries (Africa, Cyprus,) and journeys to Scotland. I like the idea of going missing in the landscape, finding my way in unfamiliar territory, feeling different elements and forgetting all else! My paint forms shapes that can be rocks, hills, sand, vegetation, but the journey through the colours is, for me, a parallel to walking through a new landscape.
