Rising Sun

I've watched the sun rise in many different countries and the most vibrant dawn was in Cyprus. I used to cycle out in to the landscape from Nicosia when it was dark and watch the colours of dawn creep across the landscape. In the summer the sun could be especially colourful though this partly references that experience and the abstract qualities of paint.
