A Sparkling River Ran Through My Dream

I like to imagine places where I can sit quietly and feel a connection with Nature and at times these places influence the kind of forms I paint. In this slightly less abstract painting I imagined a river running through fields, with some pine trees on the left side. It is high summer so the grasses are bleached in the late afternoon sun.
