'Mediterranean Memory.'

This was painted as a test piece before I began my 8 foot by 4 foot panel for the South East Open Studios 2016. I wanted to see how this particular type of panel would react to paint and gesso as it has a heavy texture, from the wooden chips, and I wanted to be able to use the textures as part of the image.
