These teapots were sitting on a trolley in the kitchen at the cafe at Burrswood. As I paid for my coffee, I glimpsed this grouping, and it reminded me of my groupings of female figures. I liked the way the teapots seemed to be waiting for something to happen, rather like people in life. The colours and placings were very important, and I worked on this for a long time to get it exactly how I wanted it to be.
