'Bird over Nicosia. 'Oil on board, (2011)

While I was in the 6th floor cafe of the Shacola Tower, Nicosia, I saw a bird circling over the city. There was also a Digger making a new car park, and rooftops with plant pots. Using the elements from drawings and memory that held the essence of that summer's day for me, I painted until the composition felt right.
