Lost City

I've always had an interest in explorers such as Ernest Shackleton and Sir Percy Fawcett who went into uncertain territory and discovered new places or lost cities.
My painting approach involved excavating shapes and colours through layering paint, erasing forms and allowing the forms to emerge as I worked.
