Jungle Sun

This painting was started in 2019 and finished this week. Setting work aside helps me to see it with fresh eyes.

The suggestion of a jungle emerged as I painted, though my interests were colour and colour relationships. I collect rare and unusual plants and sometimes their shapes enter my work unconsciously. Again, this is a homage to all the brave explorers past and present.
