Summer Day
I often dream of living in a rural place where I can connect with nature on a deeper level - somewhere warm with distant hills, rivers and sunshine. As a child I spent many hours walking in forests and fields, watching wild animals, studying flowers and generally loving all the seasonal changes. As an adult I've loved travelling and feeling the different energies of different countries. This love of nature underlies my artwork even though I like to let the paint take me in to abstraction.
