Rainfall Moon (2)

This is one of a series of 3 on this theme about the moon seen through rain which was inspired by a few rainy evenings in the UK. My focus was on the textures of the paint, making marks, and exploring transitions of colours. The compositions developed without planning - the process of applying paint in different ways led to the final image. I wanted to leave some of the painting open to interpretation.
