On the way to the Great Wall during one of my China trips the mountains appeared black with sunlight catching areas of their rocky slopes. This is a composite of memories from that day and has been heavily worked on and changed over 2 years. The Great Wall is in the painting as the orange element which curves down the mountain side.
I have also made reference to waterfalls and water.
