'Ebb and Flow.'
This was the first of the 'Cyprus Poems' series, painted on canvas on my mother-in-law's balcony in Nicosia. I was anticipating being in Paphos a few days later so the painting became about coastal elements - rocks, sea, sand, light. I did not make any alterations on my return from Paphos - I wanted to keep it as a record of the before-Paphos experience.
