I had a large painting selected for this prestigious Biennale and I was also invited to Beijing for the Opening Ceremony and Symposium (my accommodation and expenses covered). The theme was 'The Silk Road and World Civilisations.' The exhibition is on from Sept 24th to Oct 15th at the National Art Museum of China. The range of artworks is extremely impressive! My painting has a wall to itself and the lighting is perfect.

I had an amazing 5 days in Beijing and believe this will influence my artwork. I also had time to go to the art shop for rice paper and calligraphy brushes.
