On 24th April, the new Mark Rothko Centre in Daugavpils, Latvia, had its Grand Opening. I attended, staying at the same hotel I stayed at during my residency. The Centre was opened by Mark Rothko's children, Kate and Christopher, and there were performances, a concert and buffet meal. I have just written an article about the new Centre, for the July/August issue of THE JACKDAW.

My four paintings are now in the collection in the Centre.
